  The Gorgas Advanced Course objectives are:
  • To provide those experienced in clinical tropical medicine or infectious diseases intensive hands-on exposure to large numbers of patients in a short period of time in order to maintain clinical skills
  • To facilitate exchange of clinical acumen by assembling experienced clinicians together on a busy tropical disease unit in an endemic area
  • The Gorgas Advanced Course is targeted to clinicians experienced
    beyond the entry-level Gorgas Diploma Course
Note: Contents and Format of the Advanced and Expert courses are identical.
